Hi everybody, I recently found a work around rather than a bugfix that worked for me. In directory /var/lib/texmf/web2c/ I found a file called plain.mem that is a symbolic link to mpost.mem . Unfortounatly mpost.mem does not exist in /var/lib/texmf/web2c but it does in /var/lib/texmf/web2c/metapost/. After a correction of the corrupted link context was installable via dpkg again. king regard, Basil
