Dear Julien,

this bug has been fixed since ages and cannot be fixed in a better vway.
Looking into the fmtutil.log file you would have seen that
pdftexconfig.tex is missing. dlocate-ing it will give you
texlive-base-bin, and you ill find in the NEWS.Debian file a long
explanation.

You have to reinstall texlive-base-bin
