no local fonts are installed anymore and I reproduced this issue again. I made a reply via reportbug to the bug report #1023391 with a new tgz, containing all output files of lualatex. One made with a portable texlive installation (which is fine), one with texlive on a current debian testing.
You have the package fonts-ebgaramond installed. Could you remove it and try again? Hilmar -- sigfault
