With my mirror maintainer's hat on, I can assure you that quite some folks
use mirror as it is packaged for Debian --- but it is of course version
2.8 of mirror. You'll find it in the development tree (aka unstable) but
given that it is a perl script, it'll work just as well on a.out systems
as Debian 0.93R6.
