plog not working in hamm.

I have just upgraded to hamm.  

pon seems to work okay, but plog doesn't come up with anything.  I suspect
this is because 
	/etc/syslog.conf
has changed, but I'm not sure.  I had a look, but I don't know how to
change it to fix the problem.  Does anyone know?
