W3C gave up on it a while ago, and it's now developed elsewhere (I would tell you but I can't spell the name :-) ). It's a bit flakey in places but the default rendering is very nice. It seems not to cope so well with pages using CSS. AFAIK Netscape is the only Linux browser supporting Java. IME you're not going to get reasonable Java speed of any kind on an 8 MB machine. -- Mark Brown mailto:broonie@tardis.ed.ac.uk (Trying to avoid grumpiness) http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~broonie/ EUFS http://www.eusa.ed.ac.uk/societies/filmsoc/
