You need to install the smbfsx package which has the smbmount compiled
against the 2.1.x(which is now 2.2.x) headers. The command line has
changed drastically as well for smbmount. The only documentation I
have seen is via 'smbmount -h'. A shell script has been written as a
wrapper for the old and new smbmount that does a decent job of
correctly calling the right smbmount. It can be found at
http://www.wittsend.com/mhw/smbmount.html.
