I'm not sure of the answer to this question but here is a translation in
case anyone cares to help:
------------------------------------------------------------------
When I install the latest version of linux debian from CDROM all goes wll
until I reach the point of installing the software packages. Dselect asks
me for the source; I say CDROM, and then I'm asked for "block device type"
and this is when I can't go on. I've tried various options, among others:
/dev/hdb
but in this case it tells me that the kernel does not support iso9660,
although I made the previous installation from the same CDROM. If I go into
a shell I can't mount the CDROM because I get the same message about
iso9660 with the following command:
	mount /dev/hdb -t iso9660 /cdrom
I've tried earlier versions of debian and the same thing happens. I
have a pentium 166MMX. Where do I have to go to get an answer to my
problem?

Note: I managed to install the last distribution of RedHat and mounted
CDROM without difficulty but I would prefer to install Debian.
