Why yes it does. If you'd like something a little more OOish check out the ACE library (created by Doug
Schmidt). Where to get it? Can't think of it at the moment, but I think Doug did this at the Univ. of
Washington so maybe try there. The library is supposed to be pretty good. I've never used it but I did
here Doug give a presentation on it at C++ World many years back.
