No. Pppconfig has no reason to touch /etc/aliases. The string 'aliases'
does not appear anywhere in pppconfig. Can you tell me *exactly* in detail
what you do when this happens? Also tell me exactly how your system is
configured. Don't be afraid to be verbose.
