I didn't have the original message, but anyway...
If you want to have white on black, you can just run the rxvt/xterm
with the -fg white -bg black options. Stick that in the menu file
under WM or however you want to do it. Another way, which I haven't
tried with rxvt, is to put the following in a .Xresources or
.Xdefaults file:
xterm*Background: Black
xterm*Foreground: gainsboro
I don't understand the reasoning for using reverse video. There must
be a reason it exists...anyone?
