exim a maildir.
Cześć!
W pliku konfiguracyjnym exim.conf przeczytałem:
# If instead you want all such deliveries to
# be in the "maildir" format that is used by some other mail software,
# uncomment the final option below. If this is done, the directory specified
# in the .forward or alias file is the base maildir directory.
Odkomentowałem wiersz:
maildir_format
Ponieważ nadal nie mogłem odbierać wiadomości w formacie 'maildir'
utworzyłem za pomocą polecenia 'maildirmake.maildrop' katalog Maildir.
W pliku 'maildroprc' odkomentowałem wiersz:
DEFAULT="$HOME/Maildir"
Manual --> (If the file /etc/maildroprc exists, mail delivery or mail
filtering instructions are read from that file.)
W katalogu domowym utworzyłem plik .forward i umieściłem w nim następujący wpis:
/usr/bin/maildrop /home/username/Maildir
Teraz podczas odbierania poczty w pliku 'mainlog' pojawia się komunikat:
2002-11-12 01:11:08 18BOe4-0000PH-00 == /usr/bin/maildrop /home/username/Maildir
<user@user.linux.net> T=address_file defer (13): Permission denied:
failed to create directories for /usr/bin/maildrop /home/username: Permission denied
Pytanie:
Dlaczego brak dostępu, mimo że katalog 'Maildir' tworzyłem jako użytkownik?
Pytanie:
Serwer 'exim' instalowałem jako pakiet. Czy odkomentowanie wiersza
'maildir_format' jest niewystarczające i powinienem instalować exim'a
stosując się do poniższych wskazówek?
Manual --> (The code for the optional formats is not included in the Exim binary by
default. It is necessary to set SUPPORT_MBX, SUPPORT_MAILDIR and/or
SUPPORT_MAILSTORE in Local/Makefile' to have the appropriate code
included.)
Dziękuję za pomoc.
Pozdrowienia
