star office seg faults :-(

hi,

i got and installed star office 4.0 from the tar ball. everthing
installed without errors, but when i run it the first window opens up
(where you can open new documents etc) and then it seg faults and dies.

it looks like such a nice program that this is very frustrating. i am
running a libc6 mostly 'hamm' system (upgraded bit by bit as needed over
the last six months). i thought it could be old libraries so i upgraded
to the latest libc6, libc5 and xlib6 in frozen but still no dice. i am
also running windowmaker (0.14.1) and kernel 2.0.32.

does anyone have any ideas? below is the error it dies with.

thanks,

adam.
