Re: debconf hosed after cold boot and fsck



If you're confident that your disk is now okay, it looks like you should
be able to get away with apt-get -f install debconf, and your pcmcia-cs
packages.  This should fix up the stuff that got trashed in Debconf, as
well as the dpkg package database.

Ah, for a journeling filesystem...
