* Package name    : exim-mysql

  Description : An MTA (Mail Transport Agent) with mysql backend support.

I already packaged with one (exim compiled with mysql and tls support).
I needed it personally, with the provided debian exim package a
recompile is necessary to use a mysql backend.

The reason of the removal of LDAP was that it's not needed if you
use mysql-lookup. Somebody who uses LDAP for exim already
has a very good solution and doesn't need mysql :)

Ok, probably you are right.

Ok you got me... My main point of view was that exim4 is STILL in
experimental and not as a seperate exim4 package in sid. That's why I
thought it's still ok to develop such a package. I'll continue to use my
package internally (especially because I'm used to exim3's config) for
a while, but switch to exim4.

I'll close this one :)
Thanks for giving me that much of informations. I didn't know that exim4
isn't that far developed and stable already that it would move into
sid soon.

bye
