The kipi-plugins and required libraries are yet to be packaged for Debian. Achim Bohnet is working on them, as soon as they are ready, I'll update kimdaba to have pluging support. In the meantime, you may try the unofficial kimdaba package, which has kipi-plugin support. It is stored at Achim's unofficial repository: deb http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/debian/experimental ./ deb-src http://www.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/debian/experimental ./ Add these to sources.list and install kimdaba and kipi-plugins packages.
