Bug#284376: RFA: ilisp -- Emacs interface to LISP implementations

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I request an adopter for the ilisp package.

The package description is:
ILISP is a powerful GNU Emacs interface to many dialects of Lisp,
including Lucid, Allegro, Harlequin LispWorks, GCL, KCL, AKCL, ECL,
IBCL, and CMUCL. Also some Scheme implementations are supported as
well as a preliminary version of Xlisp/XlispStat.

I haven't used ilisp in the past year. Most Lisp users have switched
to use SLIME (http://common-lisp.net/project/slime) as opposed to
ilisp. However, ilisp users still exist. There are a number of minor
issues reported for ilisp in the BTS, and one report of trouble more
serious trouble. There are a large number of maintainers upstream for
ilisp, however there hasn't been much upstream activity in the last
year.

If someone wants to take over maintainership of ilisp, but needs some
help, I'd be willing to assist.
