Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: "Євгеній Мещеряков" <eugen@debian.org> * Package name : libopennurbs, libopennurbs-dev, opennurbs (source), maybe opennurbs-examples Version : 4.0 Upstream Author : Robert McNeel * URL : http://opennurbs.org/ * License : public domain? (see below) Programming Lang: C, C++ Description : library for reading and writing of 3DM file format The openNURBS Initiative provides CAD, CAM, CAE, and computer graphics software developers the tools to accurately transfer 3-D geometry between applications. File headers contain this copyright notice: // Copyright (c) 1993-2007 Robert McNeel & Associates. Neither copyright nor copyleft restrictions apply. * No contribution of effort or technology is required from the members, although it is encouraged. Because of "there are no restrictions..." it looks like the library is in the public domain (or at least DFSG-free). I need this library for brlcad (ITP: #289632). brlcad source includes the library, but i think it is better to package it separately. Upstream makefile produces only static library. I'll try to make package with shared library if possible.

I'm no longer packaging brlcad, so this package is also not needed.Attachment: signature.asc
