Audacity is a multi-track audio editor. It is designed for easy
recording, playing and editing of digital audio. Audacity features
digital effects and spectrum analysis tools. Editing is very fast and
provides unlimited undo/redo.
Although an online manual is available within Audacity, it is always a
later version than the Debian Stable release version of Audacity. This
can be confusing for users when the manual and the software do not
match. The Audacity manual should be built at the same time that the
audacity and audacity-data packages so that it is the same version.

Commons Attribution 3.0 license
