Simon, would you like this in utopia-team then? If so, could you please create a dbus-broker repo and give me push access? I'd like to upload to experimental before the end of the week, so that it can go through NEW. Will not upload to unstable until we are all happy, and possibly the dbus package split is agreed if not uploaded.
