I believe this bug is a duplicate of #280384, which was fixed yesterday with the release of 4.3.0.dfsg.1-9: xfree86 (4.3.0.dfsg.1-9) unstable; urgency=high [...] * Apply patch from Richard Mortimer to fix the XFree86 X server's ELF object loader to set the PROT_EXEC flag on mmap()ed modules regardless of machine architecture.
