No, it should work without change:
$ setxkbmap -model macintosh -layout se -print
xkb_keymap {
xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwerty)" };
xkb_types { include "complete" };
xkb_compat { include "complete" };
xkb_symbols { include "pc(pc105)+macintosh_vndr/se" };
xkb_geometry { include "macintosh(macintosh)" };
};
Can you please file a seperate bug report against xkb-data, with your
keyboard settings from xorg.conf?
