"xrandr -o left" results in a corrupted screen, that bears some resemblance
to what it should, but with large triangle regions extending from the X=Y
line to the screen edge extremely corrupted.
"xrandr -o right" is even more confusing, with similar triangles, but no
clear origin for the line.
"xrandr -o inverted" almost works, with only minor problems -- edge case along the
new bottom/left (old top/right).
In all cases, "xrandr -o normal" restores functionality.

"xrandr -o left" results in a corrupted screen, that bears some resemblance
to what it should, but with large triangle regions extending from the X=Y
line to the screen edge extremely corrupted.
"xrandr -o right" is even more confusing, with similar triangles, but no
clear origin for the line.
"xrandr -o inverted" almost works, with only minor problems -- edge case along the
new bottom/left (old top/right).
In all cases, "xrandr -o normal" restores functionality.
