Upgrading to xfce4-cpufreq-plugin to 1.2.0-1 (which was made available 
by May 24) results in that plugin to use more and more CPU.

This is not noticeable if the uptime is low, but after 2 days, this 
plugin will use between 7 and 15% of CPU each time it is called (ie 
every seconds).

This was not the case with the previous version of this plugin on Debian 
Testing.
