Package: python-gnome
Version: 0.6.0-1

  If I try to install python-gnome or python-gdk-imlib (using apt), I get the
message:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
  python-gnome: Depends: python-gtk (>= 0.6.0-1 ) but 0.6.0-1 is installed

  I emailed the apt folks, and they told me it was a problem with python-gtk's
control files. In response to bug #36283:

>This is a known and fixed bug, there is a typo in the package headers that
>APT does not like, there is an extra space after the version number.

>Jason

  Is possible that this typo could be corrected? At the moment I'm hacking
around it by editing apt's available lists, which is..um..rather tedious.
