bug#45007: apt: Latest slink apt does not work on sparc
Package: apt
Version: 0.3.10slink11
The latest slink version of apt (0.3.10slink11) does not work on my
sparc system (SparcStation 2). "apt-get update" just sits quietly
eating cpu without making any syscalls. The update and install dselect
methods does the same. The previous version (0.1.9) worked OK, and I
could find the source for 0.1.8, which I built and installed, and this
version is now working as it should. The kernel is stock 2.1.12. The
same package seems to work OK on i386.
