That exactly is not a mirror system, but a workaround.

In a mirror system, there should be a master server from which the
package index is downloaded and all other entries should act as a
mirror -- just for downloading the packages.

Via this implementations like parallel downloading from multiple
mirrors and mirror switching can be implemented.
Yes, but it's also much more complicated that way.



Ok then, this bug has to be cancelled.
