Package: apt,libgd-text-perl Version: 0.86-8 Severity: serious User: debian-qa@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts Control: found -1 0.9.7.8 Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'squeeze'. It installed fine in 'squeeze', then the upgrade to 'wheezy' fails. This problem was noticed on the i386 architecture but not on amd64. Therefore I'm opening a new bug, even if this is related to #645713. The test setup was a minimal squeeze chroot, recommends disabled, and libgd-text-perl installed. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'libgd-gd2-perl'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2) A status file and the log from apt-get -s dist-upgrade -o Dir::State::status=/tmp/dpkg_status_no_immediate_libgd-gd2-perl -o Debug::pkgPackageManager=1 -o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=1 after s/squeeze/wheezy/ are attached, too. cheers, Andreas
