I've taken a first shot at writing a script which looks at an
executable and notes the obvious deviations from the LSB.  It is at

I guess I'm supposed to tell someone in email, rather than on the
lsb-spec mailing list, as I am not a member of the committee.  Could
you forward it along to the mailing list if you think it is
appropriate?
