Debian の古いディストリビューションのいずれかにアクセスする必要がある場合には、 Debian アーカイブ http://archive.debian.org/debian/ で見付けることができます。
古いディストリビューションのパッケージは http://archive.debian.net で検索できます。
リリースは、dists/ ディレクトリの下に、 それぞれのコードネームで格納されています。
- lenny は Debian 5.0 です。
- etch は Debian 4.0 です。
- sarge は Debian 3.1 です。
- woody は Debian 3.0 です。
- potato は Debian 2.2 です。
- slink は Debian 2.1 です。
- hamm は Debian 2.0 です。
- bo は Debian 1.3 です。
- rex は Debian 1.2 です。
- buzz は Debian 1.1 です。
時間が経つと、古いリリースのバイナリパッケージは消去されます。 現在のところ、 lenny、etch、sarge、 woody、potato、slink、hamm、bo のバイナリを用意してあります。 その他のリリースについてはソースコードのみです。
もし APT を使っているのでしたら、必要な sources.list のエントリは以下のとおりです。

debian-non-US アーカイブ
過去には、暗号化ソフトウェアの輸出規制やソフトウェア特許のためにアメリカ合衆国
(および他の国) 内で配布できないソフトウェアの Debian パッケージがありました。
Debian は、non-US
アーカイブと呼ばれる特別なアーカイブをメンテナンスしていました。
これらのパッケージは Debian 3.1 で main アーカイブに組み込まれ、debian-non-US アーカイブは廃止されました。したがって、debian-non-US アーカイブは今や、archive.debian.org のアーカイブを補完する、単なるアーカイブに過ぎません。
これらのパッケージは、archive.debian.org のマシンからまだ入手できます。 以下のアクセス方法があります。
