Bug#64227: updatedb prints syslog mess in the screen
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.2.13;
Severity: normal
updatedb (run after first boot) prints a su message to the console (since there
is no syslog running). It would be much better to hack a way to make it run in
the end of the runlevel 2 startup (rc2.d), since it isn't really that
important. Those messages in the console are confusing, ugly, evil and useless.
