But all of the documentation should either be in man pages, info pages
or in /usr/share/doc/<package> itself!  So there's probably no need
for this.  I guess, if it's relevant,
/usr/share/doc/<package>/README.Debian would be a logical place to put
such info, but dpkg -L <package> is also pretty good.
