Intent to package: perl-byacc
perl-byacc (in CPAN, see src/misc) is a set of patches to Berkeley Yacc
(already in Debian, package byacc) to implement Perl support.
The licence is the same (Public domain, "Anyone may freely distribute source
or binary forms of Berkeley Yacc whether unchanged or modified.") and I intent
to reuse the packaging of byacc.
Unfortunately both the email addresses (the original author of byacc and the
perl-byacc patcher) bounce :-( Does anyone know something more recent than
corbett@berkeley.edu and rick@IMD.Sterling.COM?
The two packages will not conflict (I will find another name for the
executable) and will coexist through /etc/alternatives.
I've told the maintainer of byacc about it (wishlist bug).
