Free Software Distribution Gets Praise from User Base
In two separate award ceremonies last week, Debian GNU/Linux received praise
from its user base for its award-winning distribution.
Readers of the popular Slashdot.org website voted the Free Software
distribution the "Most Deserving of a $2000 award". It was credited with
being a top distribution and for upholding the Free Software ideals that
Linux is based upon. The award was accepted on Debian's behalf by
Sean Perry, Joey Hess, and David Coe. Visit the official Beanie site
