It seems the 2.4 kernel won't be ready until potato will be stable. Would it be possible to include the USB-backport as a separate package into potato. I've applied the backport from 2.3.44 and use it for my USB-keyboard/-mouse without any problem. I even switch regularly between Linux (PC) and Mac (PowerMac) through a USB-switchbox and never encountered any problem on the Linux side. O. Wyss
