In "COPYING" I find the following, and then a copy of the GPL
Version 2, June 1991 afterwards.
NOTE!
For now, we (the initial developers) are still undecided about the licensing
issue. Relax! It WILL be free software in a sense that you can distribute,
modify and use our code anyway you like. But the GPL is not the only license
who garantuees you these rights. Specifically regarding the issue if one
can link a GPL program and Qt without licencing implications, might push us
to some other (more free) license on upcoming releases.
For now however, we use the GPL as a vehicle that everyone knows. If you
plan on contributing non trivial modifications for which you want to claim
copyright, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, so we can work
something out!
