Looking for a mentor. (was Re: mentors for new maintainers)

I am a new maintainer and could definately use some help getting started.  If 
someone would like to volunteer, I could use some help in getting my first 
package out.

I am supposed to be making packages for a program called Linux Explorer and 
then gpc, libgpc2, and gpc-doc.
