The only problem I see with that is for non-English speakers. "trove" is
not a very common word in English, and it's not easy for a (say) spanish
speaker, even with some knowledge of "Computer Science English", to
associate that word with a package management tool. When I saw it first
in this list a few days ago it reminded me of "trova", a kind of medieval
ballad, and "trovador" or "trovero", medieval poet that composed and sang
"trovas", often used as a synonym of juggler. I think that's not the
right image to associate with one of our most valuable and advanced tools. :-)
Unix already have bad reputation of using cryptic acronyms for
common tools. Although I don't think that reputation is justified, I
would prefer not giving weapons to our enemies...
