Well, call me weird, but I prefer to pronounce Linux the way Linus
says it, that is, Leenooks  (short oo).  :-)  I know, this sounds weird
in English, but hey, I'm not a native English speaker anyway, so I don't
really care.  :-)

(OTOH, I like to pronounce "TeX" with the "X" throat sound, as in the "ch"
in Bach.  :-)
