It only takes a few seconds to think up a name and hammer in a message
suggesting it.  I see no evidence that anyone is spending much time
dreaming up names, or becoming especially committed to the ones they do
post.

I agree. I'd vote for deity, if I had a vote (That's what it will be called
anyway, no matter what you name it).

If deity is being delayed for lack of a name, pick one and get on with it.
Nobody's nose will be out of joint because the one they invested 17 seconds
in gets rejected.  If the need for a label isn't urgent, why not let people
have their fun?
