Right. I don't have a problem with that either. But this can be done
without impacting most, ifnot all, of the things Manoj was discussing.
If anything, this issue is just a stronger argument in favor of the
original intent of Debian. We should maintain a base OS which is
tremendously flexible and perhaps too complex for many users, and then
create "build-ons" that provide specialized functionalities. I'd say
that the full blown WinNT/Win95/MacOS naive user replacement OS would
be just such a project.
