intent to package: vdkbuilder
Hi,
I'm the maintainer of vdk debian package (vdk is a C++ wrapper over gtk)
and a member of the vdk/vdkbuilder development team. We have released
the vdkbuilder, a nice clone of C++ Builder. Some of the features:
- GPL licence
- GUI designer
- Project manager
- Text Editor with syntax highlighting
- Widget Inspector
- the generated code can be compiled with vdk.
This is an alpha release, but you still can do a lot with it. We are
very interested in user's impressions to decide what new features are
needed and how to improve the existent ones.
If everything goes well, the deb package will be ready in a couple of
days (less than 2 weeks). Maybe I'll finish the package even today. I'll
do my best, but I have a rather busy schedule these days :-/
We have mailing lists for vdk and vdkbuilder.
We also have an irc server for developers of vdk/vdkbuilder.
