Bug#229589: /usr/bin/dpkg-scanpackages: dpkg-scanpackage lacking support for multiple versions pools of the same package
Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.10.18
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/bin/dpkg-scanpackages
i'm trying to setup a cvs packages archive for gnomemeeting and was
wondering if there could be a switch in dpkg-scanpackages i've
overlooked (or another best practice) for getting all versions of a
package listed in the Packages file.
Aparently snapshot.debian.net is having this feature for their "pool"
and i'd love to add this to my archive too. Just i don't want to hack
me my own dpkg-scanpackages but propose this to be added as switch
for upstream as i think this is something very useful not only for me.
Objections?
