the only other thing that i have noticed is that the build system in it's
current state assumes you are either building for an x86 system or you are
doing cross compiling for sharp or ipaq.  (those being the 3 choices 
currently) This is not going to be the case for Debian as it'll be built
on each arch for each arch (including all of the non-x86 and non-arm ports).
I'm not sure what the diff's are between the sharp, ipaq, and x86 options
are but are we (Debian) going to want/need different sets of packages for
each or just a combined Debian generic suite?
