What command are you actually typing?  Something like

apt-get install libldap2

is what you want.

I've tried this before:
apt-get install ./libldap2_2.0.37-7_hppa

and the error message is

E: Release 'libldap2_2.0.23-7_hppa' for 'python-zlib' was not found

more hints ?
