Here comes another question: What course of action would you suggest
taking?  If possible, I would like to convince the author to fix up the
copyright notice.  Or, actually, that was not really the copyright
notice.  It was a note in the MusiXTeX manual, but not properly
marked as the "license" or the copyright.  Perhaps he might be more
interested in fixing up the license this time around.  :-)
(Yes, I am still dreaming of putting MusiXTeX into main.)

So, beside doing the following:

 * Contact the author who objected the license (and who later on forked
   the development and started his own "OpusTeX") to clarify his position
   by saying that he no longer has anything to do with MusiXTeX.

what else need to be fixed (in specific terms that MusiXTeX author could
understand) in order to make this license truly free?  Thank you 
in advance.
