OHCI compliant 1394 cards work. I use one on my Ultra30, with an 80gig
VST SBP-2 driver and a Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge.

You got lucky. Not only do I maintain Debian's sparc port, but I also
maintain the Linux 1394 tree :)
