"Frozen" Installation Report

  Hello,

  this is just to report a more-or-less successful installation of
"potato test-cycle 2".

Machine  : Toshiba Satellite 210 CS (no CD, ethernet)

Floppies : rescue, root, drivers[1-3] from Official test-cycle 2
           binary-i386-1 (home made)

Base     : Official test-cycle 2 binary-i386-1 (home made) mounted on
           remote debian machine.

Packages : Same, installed at first reboot.

Glitches : Too many unwanted packages; most notably a lot of japanese
           and german-specific things. Should have chosen to select
           packages by hand. Lots of time lost removing unwanted
           packages.

	   No window manager other than twm on first CD.
