Need X11R6 Link Kit elf (unstable)

In the process of migrating system to debian (unstable).
Have a video7 video (HT216-32), however the code with
the XFree86 distribution is very old.  

I pulled down the elf link kit from tsx-11 and compiled.
However, server fails to start with
  TRANS(SocketUNIXConnect) () can't connect:errno=111

Assume error due to incompatibility between the debian
build and link kit libs.

Any thoughts or assistance appreciated.
