Sybase With Debian?

     Please send replies to this address for now,
as my sister was nice enough to allow me to borrow
her account until I get settled in here.

     For practical learning purposes (need a job), I
need to know if anyone on this list has installed a
Sybase server (beta, maybe?) under Debian and how.  At
www.sybase.com the kind of "UNIX" it will install on
is not specified.

     Thanks, and I'll be back on the list as soon as
this employment situation is worked out.
